THE MAGIC MOUSE - MEMORIES

The show will feature the home-grown, zany humor of our local Wags who dedicate much of their year gathering material, little by little, to apply to this project. It all comes together (just) before the show opens as if by magic! Our energy is truly old-fashioned but the skits cover the spectrum from 'just plain silly' to a little 'blue', so children are not encouraged to attend (unless you're willing to ante up a sawbuck). Babies really hate this show because they're always looking for your attention, and so are we. You're looking at 5 sawbucks (that's $50 in city-Anglish) for the little darlin’s, so don't even go there.

When the show is over and the boards are stored under the barn once again, we'll all have a party and give away the money! We'll be taking into consideration the folks and/or organizations in need of our assistance at that time. So if YOU have an idea that we can review please let us know. We accept bribes, but they have no bearing on our decisions. (They WILL help buy more beer, however.) .

Speaking of beer, the WARING VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT will be on hand to sell you these beverages, and not just beer! They’ll have soda pop and other non-alcoholic selections like water, for instance, just in case you might want to wash your socks. Those guys think of everything! Be sure to buy lots and lots of liquid refreshments because, not only does your thirst help fund these wonderful fellows who give so much, laughing hysterically is really hard work!

Right next door will be Bar-B-Q Sandwiches and other wonderful snacks for your nourishment needs. We want you to have plenty of food to soak up plenty of beer, because, as everyone knows, there will be BEER available and lots of it. 

Performances are Friday and Saturday, April 25th & 26th and May 2nd & 3rd, at Waring Hall, five miles east of Comfort. We will feature different musical guests throughout the run of the production. Shows begin at dark-thirty (7:30 SHARPISH! ) and last about 2½ hours. Tickets cost $5 for adults and $10 for kids, $50 for crying babies (no kidding). Tickets are available at the door beginning at 6 p.m., but they aren't available in advance.

The Show is held at Waring Hall which is approximately Five miles East of Comfort. If you're heading in from San Antonio on I-10 take the Waring Exit approximately 15 miles west of the Hwy. 46 exit in Boerne. Travel along the access road until you see the right turn onto FM1621. Look for the 'signs' along the road announcing the show. When you arrive in Waring, take a right at the four-way stop. Go one block and there we'll be! Really, it's just that simple. We're looking forward to sharing our free-spirited production with you. You've got to ask yourself, where else can you have a whole evening of fun and frolic for 5 bucks a ticket? AND enjoy some great food and drink (did we mention there'll be beer?) for an additional pittance?! Don't miss our Way, Way Off Broadway show of shows!

All proceeds will benefit the community in myriad ways. There are regular scholarships awarded, uplifting projects underwritten, and endless details attended to in and about the beautiful Hill Country. Many wonderful folks in the community pitch in and make this possible, and we wish to thank them from the bottom of our collective hearts!
